Our luncheon at the TAT today had 61 alumni in attendance. Jimmy and his T.A.T. crew did their usual good job with the food and service.
We recognized several of our alumni (Mike West 65, John Jauch 65, Gene Shilling 49, and Richard Vargo 53) who were participants in Columbus Honor Flight 91 on September 29. They were flown to Baltimore MD. Early in the morning, bussed to DC and then visited Arlington Cemetery, Iwo Jima Marine Memorial, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam War Memorials, Women in Service War Memorial, and the Air Force Memorial. They then were flown back to Columbus Saturday night. Quite a full day, and a well-deserved honor.
We prayed for the 6 alumni who died since the September luncheon, and the several alumni who are ill.
The annual newsletter will be mailed or emailed around December 1.
The 50/50 winners today were Ronald Krick (57) and Jim Bugh (56).
Our next luncheon will be at The TAT on Monday April 1, 2019.
Look forward to seeing everyone next year.
