Dear Alum,
We had 63 Aquinians at the TAT today for our final luncheon of 2023. Since the September luncheon we lost 3 alumni; and Father Jay, O.P., led us as in prayer for the deceased and ill. Father Jay is on temporary assignment to St. Mathews Parish in Gahanna. He is a member of The Western Province of St. Joseph.
Our 50/50 winners were John Canty, class of 1960, and Harold Hess, class of 61. Harold very generously donated his winnings to the Alumni Association.
Father Stephen Alcott O.P., Pastor of St. Patrick Church, led us in final prayer including the Aquinas Prayer that many Aquinians prayed daily “O Blessed Thomas, patron of schools, obtain for us from God an invincible faith, burning charity, a chaste life, and true knowledge through Christ Our Lord. Amen”
Our annual newsletter will be published around December 1, 2023. It will be emailed to those having email addresses on file with us, and regular mail to all others.
Our next luncheon will be Monday April 1, 2024, at the T.A.T.
